A startup located in San Francisco, CA, Scoop Technologies’ carpool app lowers energy use and gets folks enjoying their commutes. Scoop wanted to bring some of that same social and sustainable energy to their team members. They selected Shine as their well-being platform. Centered around corporate challenges that are simple and fun, Shine encourages and reward habits that improve their employee’s health and the planet. Scoop uses Slack for a lot of their internal communication. Shine’s Slack integration makes it easy to share their Shine achievements and action photos to a Slack Channel.
Scoop’s first challenges was a huge success with almost 100% participation. Employees divided into teams and conquered their daily habits, working to conserve resources, and show off their skills to their colleagues.
“Our employees absolutely loved being up for the challenge and the interactions they were having through the app and Slack channel. An incredible way to not only give back to the world around us but also have a bit of fun internally.”Adam Faludi
Slack was busier than ever with fun photos and witty captions, and team members found countless ways to improve their day to day resource use. They’ve since also competed in a Fitness Challenge where they got active, encouraged one another, and found workout buddies in the office. Next up, they’re running another Sustainability Challenge to kick off 2018 on a green foot and continue to encourage waste and energy reduction amongst their team members.
